Jim Brooks

Jim grew up in a church-going home but was a hypocrite who acted one way around church and another away from church. In his freshman year of college, a friend shared the good news of Christ with him and he embraced Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

Upon graduating from college, he and his wife worked fulltime with Campus Crusade for Christ. While with Campus Crusade, Jim was privilege to attend seminary at Western Conservative Baptist Seminary. Soon after graduation in 1993, they left Campus Crusade so Jim could pursue the pastorate.

Pastor Jim served as the pastor of a church in rural Washington. He accepted the call to pastor Fremont Evangelical Free Church in July 2007. Pastor Jim is deeply committed to expository preaching, biblical counseling, and training leaders.

Jim and Aileen have been married since 1983 and have two sons. His oldest attends The Master’s College in Santa Clarita, CA; his youngest is still at home and enjoys playing the drums. Jim enjoys time with his family, reading, home improvement projects, and being with people.
