Mission and Vision

Why do we exist?
Fremont Evangelical Free Church exists in this community as a witness to the truth that each individual's chief end is to glorify God, and to glorify Him in the way He has ordained - through our delight in Him, "Delight yourself in the Lord"(Psalm 37:4), proving that God is the source of complete and unending pleasure: "You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand."(Psalm 16:11)

What will this look like?
We view Fremont Evangelical Church as a regional church consisting of families throughout the surrounding communities. With this view we desire to be a church which enables individuals to serve in their communities. Therefore our vision for Fremont Evangelical Free Church is that we be a "sending" church where people come to the central location for the purpose of corporate worship, fellowship, and children and adult training. Through this corporate ministry the individual believer will be equipped and "sent" into personal ministry primarily through small groups, but also through mentoring relationships and part-time and full-time ministry opportunities.

Using a simple analogy we see the building as the 'hub" where the corporate body gathers for worship, fellowship and training. Out from this central hub are numerous spokes into the surrounding communities. We envision small groups located in these various communities ministering to the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of the individuals who make up the entire body.
