Children's Ministries

Our vision is to develop children who not only know God's Word but delight in God's Word. The Bible is our food to not only fill our longing for Him who truly satisfies, but also to create more hunger for Him. We want to teach God's Word in such a way that they hunger for Him as they see their teachers hunger for Him more.

Children's Ministry at Fremont Evangelical Free Church is an exciting and fruitful place for children and ministry team members. Our devoted staff love Jesus Christ and His children and are dedicated to serving you.

Nursery Ministries:
(Sunday 8:45, 10:00 and 11:00 a.m.)
Nursery Coordinator, Heidi Huss, 727-9118
It is our desire to ensure a safe and loving environment for infants and babies to learn happily about God who created them. We want parents to enjoy peace of mind as they worship, learn and grow spiritually.

Children’s Sunday School:

Coordinator, Ginny Harmon, 727-1037
Children's Church provides 4 year-olds to 6 year-olds with age appropriate lessons from the Bible along with related music and activities. Children may leave the worship service for children's church just before the pastor's message.

AWANA:
(Wednesday 5:55-7:30 p.m.)
AWANA Coordinator, Ed King, 753-1151
Our Awana clubs seek to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him. AWANA is based on the Bible with fun games, activities, and Scripture memory work for children four years to 6th grade. Meaningful relationships are developed with adult leaders and other children.

TREK:
(Wednesday 7:00-8:30 p.m.)
TREK Leader, Ed King, 753-1151
The TREK ministry is geared towards students in grades 6th-8th. The aim is to help our middle school students through their journey in middle school by revealing to them the glory of God. The students will meet with BASiC from 7:00 to 7:30 for a time of worship and then break off to their own teaching, small group, and activity time until 8:30. Trek is designed to help students transition from the shorter lessons they were accustomed to in AWANA to a serious study of the Bible.
