Our Eight Core Values

We believe that there are certain elements of the Christian faith that are non-negotiable.  We have striven to make these 8 elements central to all that we do.

1. Delighting in the sovereignty of God - We value the simple but profound truth that God is sovereign in all things. He is the sovereign standard, source and end of all we do.

2. Teaching the Bible for life - We believe that God's Word is truly “living and active" and thus useful that we might be thoroughly equipped for every good work".

3. Persisting in prayer - We are resolved to grow in our understanding and practice of prayer, expanding its presence in our lives both individually and corporately.

4. Deepening a devotion to Christ - We resolve to deepen our affections for Christ through an intimacy with Him that comes through an intimacy with Him that comes through knowing and obeying His Words.

5. Cultivating a love for the church - We don't want to just be a “friendly church". We want to go beyond, carrying "each other's burdens', loving not just in words "but with actions and in truth."

6. Preparing God's people for ministry - We desire the training of each believer according to his or her gifts, for it is in using our gifts that we find the peace and fulfillment of our divine calling.

7. Creatively going to the lost with the gospel - We want to creatively go into our world with the message of Jesus Christ, especially where the gospel is not known, for it "is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes".

8. Caring compassionately for the 'Least of These" - We value the inconvenience and cost of giving to others, not expecting repayment, for this brings glory to God's divine compassion for the world.
